Sunday market at the town of Bac Ha in the mountains of northern Vietnam. Easily reached by bus from Lao Cai or Sapa. Colourful local tribes, such as the Flower Hmong, frequent the market buying and selling their wares and generally stocking up on essentails. Local men take this opportunity to meet friends and socialise at the food stalls along with a drop or two of local corn wine. Tourists remain unhassled in general as the local population go about their business.
